So my question Doug, what is the authentic way of life for a true Christian base on

the Bible? You estimate 25% genuine, what 75% of the bible is crap.

It's frustrating talking to a believer and using the bible only, Gods word, and

you are told not to believe this part. We have so many different opinions, what is

true what is just a story. After 1700 years we still question the truth about the Bible.

i was just explaining to mrs picard........ never a jw, and not english, how we used to celebrate the harvest festival, when i was 7 and younger, before my parents converted to jw'ism.. i loved to sing "we plough the fields and scatter".

of course, singing such hymns is, to a jw, paramount to apostasy,with the death penalty like punishment the ensued.. how really stupid their harsh rules.. did you have any favourite hymns?.

i think we would all agree, that they beat the pants off the "kingdom melodies".

I was always told by JW's the songs in the churches were to stir up emotions.

After I left the truth, I went back to my old church for a while. I joined the men's

choir. Singing those sounds that I raised in, Baptist church. We rocked I must say,

but gave it up when I was singing a duet and passed out. That ended my singing

career in the church. But I love the songs.

You right, Mark 16:51 was dropped. It read go and preach to those dogs, they changed it to

Mark 16:15. It sounded more loving.

That would make him a jerk.. We only have the Bible and people say it 's the truth, we can't

pick somethings and say that's not what he said.

I don't think that is good news. Hell if that is love, what the hell is hate. In fact, you don't

need to be an enemy, even those who would rather not believe in Jesus

are condemned to to be set a blazed.
